Educational & Cultural Programs
Tai Chi, Chinese culture, and creative learning experiences for schools, educators, and community organizations.
I offer thoughtfully designed Tai Chi and Chinese cultural experiences for groups interested in movement, learning, creativity, and meaningful connection.
Programs can be adapted to different ages, group sizes, learning goals, and settings.
Interested in a Program?
Tell me a little about your group and what you have in mind.
I will review your information and help you consider an appropriate format.
A Different Kind of
Learning Experience
Tai Chi can be introduced as movement, cultural learning, or a way of developing awareness, balance, focus, and coordination.
Rather than simply watching a demonstration, participants are invited to experience the practice themselves.
The pace is calm and accessible.
There is no expectation of prior Tai Chi experience.
Depending on the group, a program may include:
-
Tai Chi movement
-
Qigong
-
Chinese cultural themes
-
Tai Chi and fan art
-
movement and creative learning
-
balance, focus, awareness, and coordination
-
seasonal or thematic programs
Designed Around Your Group
No two groups are exactly alike.
I begin by learning about your group, your setting, your participants, and what you hope they will experience.
A program may be:
-
a single introductory session;
-
a school or educational visit;
-
a multi-session learning program;
-
a cultural enrichment activity;
-
a museum or community program;
-
or a customized Tai Chi and cultural experience.
The length and structure can be adapted to the needs of the group.
Tai Chi & Fan Art
One of my educational and cultural programs brings Tai Chi together with traditional Chinese fan art.
Participants may explore movement, balance, creativity, Chinese cultural traditions, and personal expression through Tai Chi and fan-related art activities.
This program has been developed especially for educational and cultural settings.
