 A Gentle Beginning

We’re honored to offer our first Push Hands series—a 9-hour introductory course for students who have completed at least six hours of training at Tao Tai Chi Studio. This shared foundation allows us to create a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for partnered practice.

Push Hands is not about strength or competition. It’s a quiet conversation of movement, intention, and awareness. Rooted in Taoist philosophy and informed by movement science and behavioral studies, this course offers a meaningful way to deepen your Tai Chi journey.

This series is part of our long-term vision to support sustainable, student-centered learning. After each series, we pause for two weeks before beginning the next. In 2026, we’ll continue refining our offerings based on student feedback. If interest allows, we may offer an intermediate-level class.

Who This Is For

• Students seeking deeper interpersonal practice

• Those interested in Tai Chi’s wellness and philosophical dimensions

• Anyone who values trust, respect, and shared growth

Feel free to invite a friend to join—just make sure they’ve completed the required training by enrolling in the course. This ensures that everyone shares a common foundation, helping us create a safe and respectful learning space.

Let’s move together—not to test strength, but to cultivate sensitivity.

Let’s engage—not to compete, but to connect.

Let’s grow—not through force, but through flow.

Early registration ends August 31.

We warmly invite you to take the next step—email us or speak with us in person to confirm your place.
